Milken Family Foundation
Santa Monica, CA 90401
Paul Bliese is a seasoned visual storyteller and photographic professional who has devoted over a quarter century of his career to the Milken Family Foundation, where he currently serves as Vice President of Photography. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Scientific Photography, which shaped his technical precision and creative approach to the visual arts. Bliese began his career in commercial and advertising photography before transitioning primarily to documentary work upon joining the Foundation. In his role, he has traveled extensively, capturing powerful images of the organization’s diverse initiatives, including award-winning educators, renowned musicians, leading medical researchers, and influential figures in business and politics. Beyond his work at the Foundation, his photography has been widely published and exhibited in galleries in New York and Los Angeles. His artistic sensibility and commitment to narrative photography allow him to bring a human dimension to the Foundation’s mission, giving voice to its work through visual storytelling. Bliese considers himself fortunate to have an “all-access pass” to the life of the Foundation’s programmatic efforts, allowing him to witness—and document—impact in real time.
