Kate Rose is the Program Coordinator for ARTEFFECT, where she supports a growing visual arts education program. In this role, she coordinates online and conference events, social media outreach, and competition planning. Drawing on her background in art history, she brings strong research skills and critical insight to content development, creating digital materials that engage educators and students while advancing ARTEFFECT’s mission to inspire storytelling through art.
Kate has worked with various art institutions including the Courtauld Gallery and the Hammer Museum. As a writer for Art Muse LA, she has published reviews of contemporary and historical art, covering topics ranging from art fairs to Surrealism. She has lived and worked in the arts across Portland, Los Angeles, London, and Paris, with projects focused on amplifying underrepresented voices—particularly women and Surrealist artists.
She holds an M.A. in Art History from The Courtauld Institute of Art, London, where she concentrated on Surrealist photography, and a B.A. in Art History and French from Lewis & Clark College in Portland.
