Kate joined ARTEFFECT in 2025 as Program Coordinator, where she supports outreach to educators and students through social media initiatives, program development, and project organization. A native of Los Angeles, Kate grew up in West Los Angeles and has long been inspired by the city’s diverse and dynamic arts community.

She earned her BA in Art History and French from Lewis & Clark College, where she also volunteered at local art galleries, fostering her commitment to making the arts accessible to all. Kate went on to receive her MA from The Courtauld Institute of Art, specializing in Surrealism, and has since gained international experience working with museums, nonprofits, and cultural institutions across the arts sector.

As an art historian, Kate brings a deep understanding of visual culture, with expertise in research, writing, and public engagement. She is passionate about connecting diverse audiences to the arts through innovative storytelling and education. At ARTEFFECT, she is especially excited to merge her love of art history with her belief in art as a powerful tool for reflection, communication, and social transformation.

Outside of work, Kate enjoys playing guitar, practicing yoga, watching films, and traveling to new destinations. Whether through creative projects or cultural exploration, she is continually inspired by the ways art shapes our understanding of the world and ourselves.
