For over three decades, Gary Panas has served as a key creative force at the Milken Family Foundation, where he is currently Vice President of Design. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Design from ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, California.
Gary’s career highlights include designing the California Pavilion for the World’s Fair exhibition in Vancouver, Canada; the Hewlett-Packard Bicycle Company exhibit at the Smithsonian’s Museum of American History; and the acclaimed national touring exhibition The Science of Magic: Special Effects in the Movies and Television.
In 2013, Gary and his team embarked on a four-year project: the design and construction of the Lowell Milken Center for Unsung Heroes in Fort Scott, Kansas. His latest achievement is the Lowell Milken Center for Unsung Heroes ARTEFFECT exhibition at the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream in Washington, D.C. He lives in Venice, California with his wife Deborah and their two dogs.
