Nakimer Foreman, Ed.S.
Visual Art Teacher, Monroe Comprehensive High School | Albany, GA

Art has always helped me process the world and connect with others. ARTEFFECT gives a connection on a larger scale. It is a more purposeful platform and that's something I would be grateful to be a part of.

Nakimer Foreman holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Columbus State University and a master’s in education with a Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University. As a Visual Arts educator for 11 years, Foreman is passionate about creating a learning environment where students feel empowered to express themselves, think critically, and use art as a tool for connection and change. With a strong foundation in both studio practice and instructional design, she strives to bridge creativity with purpose, while helping students not only build technical skills, but also find meaning in the stories they tell through their work. Outside of teaching, Foreman is a mother, wife, and practicing artist, constantly inspired by the world around her. What motivates her most as an educator is watching students discover their voice, grow in confidence, and realize that their ideas and art can impact the world.
