
The stories of Unsung Heroes provide authentic role models who demonstrate that one person’s courage and creativity can change history. Helping students connect with those stories through art will not only deepen their learning, but also inspire them to find their own voices and leadership potential.
Jennifer Langston has been teaching for 19 years in a rural area of Arkansas. She currently teaches 7th grade Integrated Science in a school where all students receive free lunch. Langston is a dedicated educator passionate about fostering curiosity and critical thinking, and she strives to create an inclusive environment where students connect scientific concepts to the world around them. Committed to being a lifelong learner, she integrates real-world applications into the classroom to make science relevant and engaging, and she is beginning to add more current events.
